That i’ve never gone fishing and the first time i did was with my husband just last year? Like most girls, i never let myself under the sun for too long, afraid to get a sunburn. I’ve a fair skin and an hour in the sun will sunburn me severely. Open my bag and you will find that there’s always a tube of sunkiller SPF50+ for protection. My husband isn’t the fishing type too. He doesn’t have the patience for it. I saw that he was fairly excited when he caught a big one though.Today he went golfing. Golf and bowling, the 2 things he plays. He’s been asking me to try golf but i dunno..Aside from the sun, i don’t think i’ll be good at it, i might not even be able to hit the ball, haha!

That i work at home and have been doing the same thing for 7 years? I consider it more of a hobby now than a job. I’ve less pressure now than when i was starting and enjoying quality time with my students. One of them is Yukari chan, my 3 years old student who would come to class with different anime goods and news every week.
Today is the first showing of the new Pokemon series on TV and my kids were amazed that i know all the latest craze and even the names of the anime characters. Well, that’s how i bond with young children, i put my level with them and enter their world with genuine interest in my heart.

That the only type of wallet that i use is the rectangle type? And that most of my things are in basic colors usually black or brown? That that brown wallet was a birthday gift from my kids? That the color of my cell phone is magenta cos i want something brownish and that my son gets mad when i put his pic as the wallpaper of my cel cos he is ashamed that other people might see it but at home, his picture fills my laptop’s screen?

That more and more people here in Japan use the o-saihu ketai or mobile wallets? My daughter “A” paid for our lunch last time we went out using her cell phone. I took a pic so my readers can see some of the latest technology developments here. She simply put her handset on the scanner that is placed at the cash register. 2 years ago,i blogged about doing your banking chores by mobile through debit card system but these days you pay your taxes, get yourself a diet coke from a vending machine, speed up your check-ins at the airports and yes, pay your goods at the convenience stores via phone. What if a pickpocket got your phone? Don’t worry, most of the o-saihu ketai here use the fingerprint scan system. Only YOU can operate your phone. Some of my older students are using it and i asked why. Aside from using it as a wallet,it’s a sure-fire way to keep their e-mail messages safe from the eyes of their parents. Hmm..

Before writing this post, i was dancing in front of the mirror and boy,it feels so damnnnn goood, i’m urging you to try it guys!Whenever i feel like slacking and not going to the gym,at the end of the day,i get this need to move my body and what’s the easiest and most fun way to do it but by dancing? And don’t forget to have a mirror big enough to see yourself sway to the music, your navel showing a bit when you put both hands on your head, touching your body while you grind those hips, feeling the beat of the song, geez,it’s so satisfying i tell you, gives me the high..

Somebody advised me a lot of reading, writing and doing something spiritual will help you fight stress and depression. It’s autumn and the nights are getting longer, it’s a nice time to spend reading and i just bought several books to add to my hundred or so collection.
Writing, yeah, aside from a secret journal that i have,i think i’ll be updating my public blog maybe twice a week now, never mind that my grammar sucks or that it’s all about me i post these days, heck! what do i care,it’s my blog and i’m free to do what i want with it,i can even post my nude pic if want to,right? nyehehe…Alright!
I need something SPIRITUAL! This week,i’m gonna visit the famous Gionji Temple. They have Zazenkai group meditation there,i just hope they have trainings for beginners like me. There are several Zen centers that accomodate foreigners in Tokyo for instance but since i can speak and understand Japanese,i wanna try it in Gionji, with a Japanese sensei or teacher. I just have this strong urge to cleanse my heart and soul, and my dirty mind. I’ll blog about it and share with you guys, that is, if Zen clicks with me.

loving my toe ring and bangles…
A friend asked me to accompany her to meet her online friend and so off we went last week and lo! there were 2 caucasians guys at the meeting place. wtf, i’m in my big 4 and having a f*ucking blind date? haha!..Man,the guy is 30,ouch! I need something more than a young body to be attracted to a guy. When you get to be my age, sophistication and inner charms count a lot. Matured guys won’t try to impress you anymore, only the losers will or the mayabangs. Why should they, one look and you know if the guy is successful or not, you can actually smell it. They are more experienced socially and sexually, they know just when to touch and where to touch and just like wine, you don’t wanna finish it in one gulp,it’s meant to be enjoyed leisurely, twirl it for the taste buds to sense and saviour it.

Went to one of Tokyo’s hottest disco, Velfarre.1,500 people can party at once in the club and it’s three floors underground, way too cool! The powerful sound systems, fantastic lights and the New York based DJ is just awesome. The cover was little steep though, $30.00 for just 1 drink but you get to watch professional dancers and some celebrities plus the hottest DJ’s in town! Ashanti was seen partying here after her Tokyo Dome concert and it is said to be the biggest disco in Asia. They have special events like House/Rock nights, Salsa nights, 70’s~90’s Disco nights and that night we went, the 3rd Friday of the month was Hip Hop/R&B/Reggae night. odorou ze!

Regular readers and lurkers of this blog i’m sure are aware that i also contribute stories in a community blog i belong to. You might want to check out some of the stuff, below are the links.

Our last day in Thailand was a busy one. I booked some of the must-see-do popular package deals that the hotel where we are staying offers. Our group consists of a couple from England,a lone traveller from Japan, (she’s 25 and have been to 8 countries, all by herself, cool huh),another lone madame from France, a guy from Hongkong,an elderly rich Filipino couple from Cebu and with them a pinay married to a military guy based in Singapore.

That’s the French Madame and the Japanese girl on the left photo. We went jungle trekking and it was fun! Our elephant’s name is Noppakun,10 years old and a she. She’s so cute, she flaps her big ears when you call her name, NOPPAKUN! Because she is the youngest among the herd, she walks fast, making us grab the seat as if we’re riding a rollercoaster, the elephant behind us is 37 years old, huge but slow.

Next we went to the famous floating market. Thess who had lived in Thailand before told me to visit this place and i’m glad i did! Boy,it was chaotic, people haggling for goods. I bought some nice sarong type skirts, the same type that they also sell in Boracay. The Filipino couple was interviewing me,hehe..how come you didn’t teach your kids to speak Tagalog? They were offering all kinds of snacks to my daughter”A”,very nice kababayans.

The tour also includes a quick trip to a coconut farm, Rose Garden, Thai Jewelry Factory and to the Samphran Zoo. At Rose Garden, you get to know a bit of Thai culture through their well-presented shows. The Muy Thai or kickboxing and other martial arts show was intense, Bamboo Dance was an elaborated version of the Philippines’ tinikling, 4 couples simultaneously dancing, using the same bamboo poles, whew!

We were shocked to see 2 big Bengal tigers tied to a post with a very short chain where you pay a certain amount and have your picture taken holding the tail. The zoo keeper then will whip the tigers to make them move their heads and growl for the camera. Imagine those tigers, unable to stand up or even stretch their legs for long hours. Equally stimulating was the crocodile wrestling show. Oh man, those guys were putting their heads and hands inside the mouth of those monsters!

Yeah, that’s an elephant doing a headstand, head upside down. After the stimulating tigers and crocs, we were treated to a very cute elephant show. Their playful tricks, funny posture, battle scene and soccer game (Raul of Spain getting a red card!) was just fantastic! I was cheering for Japan’s Nakamura, clapping my hands wildly when he shoot a goal. After the show, they were so friendly, nuzzling their noses on your head and face. “A” even had a photo with the elephant’s nose around her neck while i nervously watch, fearing the animal might suffocate her, lol! I thought she was brave for playing with the elephants, kissing them. But with the snake, she declined, running away, escaping from the man who wanted her to try it.

At night, we went to Landmark hotel where a Pinoy band,Sweet Inspiration was playing. I got drunk, and for the first time in my life, was throwing inside the plane cos it was an early morning flight and i was still partying till 3 that night. The stewardess was asking my daughter, “is she okay? hangover said “A”, ohh..said them..haha!
okidoks, hope i was able to relate to my readers my little escapades in the land of the free..see ya later, alligatah!

Powtek, on my 3rd day in Thailand, i’m already sporting a good tan and i loved it, golden brown,i like the look and love the feel of my skin, sayang it’s almost autumn here in Japan,i would love to apply oil on my skin to make it glow real gold!
After eating the international breakfast that the hotel offers, (quite good, madaming variety but i only eat oatmeal and bread cos i know the whole day will be spent eat-till-you drop pace so kontrol,kontrol..no matter how many chin ups i do while travelling,i still gain a few kilos, and i’ll hate myself when i look at the mirror. pahirapan na naman sa gym nito, abs training, i wish i live in Hawaii where it’s fashionable to be BIG!
Where am i? Oh yeah, after breakfast,we decided to take a dip
langoy langoy for a couple of hours working on a tan. Sarap talaga ng bakasyon, no need to cook, excused ka sa diet, pwede kang umitim.
Ok, bili tayo ng omiyange (pasalubong) so we went to Siam Square, big mall, chic and trendy. We accidentally met 2 friends there, may bitbit na Salvatore Ferragamo shopping bags, mga hapon nga naman, kahit saang mundo nakakalat, hilig mag travel. May na meet din kami sa airport when we arrived kasi. Ikot-ikot kami, we spotted a soccer shop,i bought some Premier League goods for my son, 3 posters,Liverpool mug, towels and keychains, nag champion kasi sa Euro, baliw ngayon anak ko kay Steven Gerrard.
Uy,sarap ng amoy,ah! Amoy thai curry, inviting siya, naglaway kagad ako..Let’s eat here, sabi ko. Kahapon kasi, all day long may guide.Today and tomorrow, free time kaya we can decide for ourselves.

Eto naman kinain namin for lunch the day before. Ahehe, dessert lang pic, busy sa pagkain,eh. This was at Baiyoke Sky Hotel,77th floor, galing ng view, overlooking Bangkok. Most of their desserts can be found in the Phil.too, mas exotic nga lang at marami ang fruits nila.

Yung nasa gitna, crab curry, sheet! Babalik ako just to have it again, ang sarap niya talaga, pramis! Tom yun kun was ok and the rest, common din here in Japan. Option ito sa package deal tour, halata bang matakaw? I consumed 2 Singha beer, powtek, pati beer nila type ko,mild ang lasa. We had this before going to the Gay Show.

Masarap maglakad lakad at tumikim ng native fruits nila. Yung mga famous street stalls din nila, panalo! I bought malagkit na saging na may coconut from the vendor inside the boat, kesehodang may motion sickness ako, mukhang masarap,eh!

Napansin ko rin, nagkalat ang monks sa Bangkok. Japan is also a Buddhist country but you seldom see monks in the big cities. And they practice Buddhism fervently, we saw worhips here and there and they have so many temples.Yung kanong may hawak na cell phone, turista yon,ha..pero naka orange din siya,hehe..
Ok,tuloy ang kwento. Teka, kuha muna ko ng isang can of cocktail, but no pulutan, back to reality, diet! After eating lunch, sakay kami ng traysikel nila. Naku poh, super ang traffic.
We wanted to go to Isetan,Japanese dept. store kasi doon, mas ok mamili ng groceries dahil written in Japanese and the staff can speak Nippongo.
Back at the hotel, after resting a bit, we took a walk and bought some pulutan dun sa mga street stalls. Punta kami ng 7-11 and bought some drinks too. Inside the hotel room, we had a good time partaking our foods, parang picnic ang feeling,we were eating on our beds, watching the local T.V shows and discussing the highlight of the trip which is the next day, kampai!
Look at the big box, puro curry ang laman. The night we got back to Japan, nagluto kami ng tom yun kun and thai green chicken curry.

During my oh-i-wanna-smoke-a-joint days, Thailand was known as one of the Golden Triangle heroin route but our guide, who speaks in halting Japanese told us that the penalty now for drug production and trafficking is death. whoa! Reminds me of a movie i saw a long time ago where 2 brit girls were framed and jailed in Thailand, was that Brokedown Palace? The guide said there are less drug problems, there is a strict No littering law,i noticed that the taxis are in good condition(colorful too!) and most of all, they have good transportation infrastructure. No wonder they have plenty of tourists there. The foods are delicious, prices are cheap, good roads and hospitable people. There are so many things to see in the city too, cultural and entertainment spots. Can’t help comparing it to my hometown Manila.

At 9 a.m sharp, Nui,our guide was already at the hotel lobby and briefed us on today’s itinerary. We first went to Wat Arun,a royal temple with breathtaking walls, halls, pagodas and Buddha images. The walls, ceilings and doors are artistically highlighted by seashells, pieces of dishes or the 5 coloured Thai chinaware known as benjarong. It is an impressive and rare sight to behold. There were so many Japanese tourists, i asked one of them to pose with me,wearing the traditional Thai dress, with a long head dress and gold plated iron fingernails.

The next stop was at the The Grand Palace where the king had just celebrated his 60 years on the throne. We noticed so many Thai people donning yellow shirts-the official royal colour to show reverence to the extremely respected king. We then went to Wat Pho where the famous huge Reclining Buddha is, it is gold plated,45 meters long and 15 meters high. I took a pic with our guide Nui who was also wearing yellow.

After a sumptuous buffet, we went shopping and had a relaxing 2 hour Thai massage. We were so tired going around the temples that i was asleep as soon as the girl, who looks like a friend of mine started on my legs. I noticed that the Thais look like pinoys.
Fresh from a good massage and nap, the long awaited Thai dinner started and over bottles of ice cold Singha beer, we started to feast on hot curries and tom yung kun. Ahh..this is the reason why i came to Thailand, i just love thai foods, hot and spicy,to die for!

The driver of the van was having a hard time finding space to park. The Asia Hotel where the Calypso Cabaret is was crowded, mostly foreigners just like us wanting to see the famous Thai Gay Shows. We were seated at the front so we had a good close-up view of the girls,err..boys? But man, they are so talented,Bangkok must be like the hollywood for gays, only the best can play there,i guess. And the girl on the left pic, she’s my favorite, is so damn beautiful, smooth curves and so feminine. Some of them look scary though, breasts not having the same sizes (the left is much bigger than the right) and some look like a witch, too many plastic surgeries and make up,i think. But performance wise,i loved it! You can feel the pride and effort they put in their work and they can be sexy and funny too,we especially enjoyed their imitation of some famous singers here in Japan. We were back at our hotel by 10 p.m. tired but satisfied.

Oh, the meaning of thai is freedom, said our guide.

Don’t accuse me that i don’t love you cos mahal kita.
Don’t think that the reason i go to the gym is because i have a guy there, you’re mistaken.
Don’t ever doubt my loyalty cos i know where i belong.
Don’t be afraid that i will leave you when the kids are gone cos i want to spend the rest of my life with you.
Don’t you ever spend the night away again cos i thought i’d die with anxiety and worries.
Don’t let us fight that way again cos it hurts me so.
Don’t let me doubt that you have a woman cos i might die with jealousy or leave you to escape reality.
Don’t question my honesty cos no other man but you has ever touched me since we said ‘ I Do’.
Don’t fret about small things cos i want to spend my life relaxed and happy.
Don’t say i don’t plan our future cos i see us together travelling, having a similar hobby, enjoying our new found freedom, only you and me just like before the kids came into our life.
Don’t make me feel lonely cos i need you.
Don’t tire taking care of me cos that’s what you promised me.
Don’t make me feel so guilty cos tears would flow like river.
Don’t make me cry with so much love cos that’s what i feel for you, i’m so in love with you.
Tonight, while lying on the bed embracing each other,i touched your hand and felt how hard they are,so calloused and suddenly it dawned on me, you’d been working so hard for 22 years, all because of me,all for me,all for my happiness, contentment, satisfaction and peace of mind.
God took away my parents but He gave you to me and our three beautiful children, i should be grateful and count my blessings and not ask for more.

Off to Thailand to eat green curry and tom yung kun, to ride the elephants and visit the crocodile farm, to watch gay shows,to lie in the beach and meet guys, to shop and to chill out.
